Shrimp Risoles

After tasting veggie risoles from the new Indonesian restaurant - we decided to make our own -better ones, with shrimp. Here is the recipe - copied & modified from Mrs Herti's recipe:

Ingredients:
The wrapper (skin):
100 gr flour
1 spoon salt
1 egg
175 ml milk

Filling:
Shrimp (as much as you want)
1 big potato
6 carrots
2 onions
3 garlics
4 chilies, cut (if you like to eat spicy)
salt, pepper, sugar to taste
1 spoon flour, mixed with a little bit of water

Coating:
1 egg, mixed
bread crumbs

Steps:
Skin/wrapper: Mix all wrapper/skin ingredients until smooth (no clumps). Then make each skin/wrapper by pouring one ladle at a time into a hot greased frying pan. Cook until they are firm, then put them aside.

Filling: Fry onion and garlic until they turn brown, then add chilies, carrots and potatoes. When all the veggies are soft enough, add shrimp, and wait until the meat cooks. Then add the flour which was previously mixed with water.

Fill each skin with a couple of spoons of the filling, and fold it like an envelope. Dip it into the egg then into the bread crumbs. Deep-fry until it turns brown.
