Home Construction (Day 31 - August 26)

From this angle, you won't be able to see any differences - but OK, let's take a closer look:


Yes yes, they've started creating a step up to our porch - thanks for noticing it. Soon we'll be able to get up on the porch without jumping 4 feet up to reach it!



The only major change on the inside was that they painted the kitchen diagrams. (Sorry about the blurry picture - it was darker since we talked too long with our neighbors, which turned out to be two of my co-workers.)


They also made drawings in our laundry area:



There are now a bunch of cables hanging ominously in the basement:



There weren't very many changes that we could notice - maybe they were completing all the wiring work today. Since it was getting dark, and I had to take long-exposure pictures, we spent some time trying to create some ghostly photo effects in our kitchen. Look closely, I think our house may be haunted by a Russian:



Can you see the faded image of a person crossing? HE CAN PASS THROUGH UNFINISHED WALLS!!! It's creepy.
